Can you even imagine trying to hit that? Well if you were at the Varsity Baseball game this week you witnessed 9 brave men attempt that feat. Most of us cannot even imagine trying to hit that pitch, but Michael A. was up for the challenge. This man looks forward to moments like this, and he proved he was ready. The opposing pitcher thought Michael was going to be an easy out, but he was sadly mistaken. He started Michael off with a 93 MPH fast ball in the dirt, and Michael watched it go by. Next pitch Michael was ready; he smacked a 95 MPH pitch over the center-fielder's head for a TRIPLE. The pitcher did not even realize what had just happened, but I can tell you, "He came into the Eagles nest, and Michael was ready". Although the Eagles were unable to come up with a win, they are looking very strong this year. Stay tuned for more Eagles news and keep reading THE WING.
