Water. $3.50.
Is this what you expect to pay for the most common beverage known to man? It has come to our attention that Le Pan is overcharging its customers. In this recession, we expect lower prices on everyday items, but the thriving Le Pan insists on tricking its consumers into overpaying.
After ordering an iced coffee and water after school on Wednesday, my bill came to over $9.00. So I, concluding that the price was ridiculous, but reluctant to confront the management, marched out of the store, leaving the bill for my fellow furious friends; Eden W. and Sabrina F. A few doors down, Subway's savory sandwiches awaited me. A footlong sub stuffed with my favorite cheese came to only $5.00. I returned to Le Pan, sandwich in hand, contemplating this matter. Something should be done.
If you are a poor student like me, and receive an allowance almost equal to the price of a bread roll, take a stand. Avoid ridiculous eateries like Le Pan and be smart with your money. Spread the word about where to go and where not to go and when in doubt, remember the deliciousness of a slice of pizza at Maria's. And how it's even tastier at $1.50.

Or for about the price of three Le Pan bottled waters, you could have your very own green (environmentally, not necessarily the color) Brentwood drinking bottle, which you can refill an unlimited number of times for free from the semi-automated South Quad water dispensing station.
